We will drive you to different lakes and locations to hunt for the best spot for Aurora viewing and relax  in our luxurious bus. You will enjoy seeing Aurora's reflection on the lakes when Aurora appears.



You will also enjoy Aurora  in a comfortable, cozy cabin at Aurora Teepee Lodge. Hot beverages and snacks are served. During the visit, our First Nation host will show how to hunt in the Arctic and show different furs. Opportunities to try on fur and clothing will be available. Our tour guides will provide free Aurora photography service during viewing time.



❤ Aurora Hunting or Viewing

You can wait for the Northern Lights in the comfort of a cozy cabin, and on cloudy days, we can chase the Northern Lights in different directions based on the cloud conditions.

  

City tour (1-2 hours): Visit the Yellowknife Welcome Sign, Great Slave Lake, Old Town, Indigenous Reservation, Pilot Monument for an aerial view of the city, Ice Road, and Visitor Center to collect the Yellowknife souvenir knife and polar certificate. Finally, the tour concludes at the famous Bullock's Bistro and outside one of Canada's cheapest Canada Goose stores. Guests are free to explore upon disembarking.

For free time or optional paid activities, you can choose from Cameron Falls, Canoeing on Great Slave Lake, or Fishing on Great Slave Lake

【Cameron Falls Hiking (Minimum pax to operate the tour: 4, 3-4 hours, available only in autumn)】

Cameron Falls Trail is located within Hidden Lake Territorial Park, on the Ingraham Trail. It is approximately 47 km east of Yellowknife. There is a small parking lot with pit toilet facilities, at the start of a 20 minute hike along a well marked trail to Cameron Falls. A short drive from Yellowknife to a basic non descript parking lot is the start of the walk to Cameron River Falls. The trail is in excellent condition and the view of the fallsat the end of the walk is worth the effort.

  



【Boat Trip in Great Slave Lake (4 hours, lunch included, available only in autumn)】

Tours offers summer trips on Great Slave Lake by boat, the ninth biggest lake in the world and the deepest lake in North America. Experience the natural wonders of Great Slave Lake: Enjoy traditional fish fry meal on the island.

【Fishing on Great Slave Lake (pure fishing without meals, available only in autumn)】

Specifically for fishing enthusiasts, you will take a small boat, with a maximum of 5 people per boat, to the fishing grounds on Great Slave Lake. You will fish for northern pike in Great Slave Lake. This activity does not include lunch but does include a fishing license for the Northwest Territories.

Ice Fishing + Downtown Restaurant Fish Meal (available only in winter)

Drive to the edge of Great Slave Lake to visit an Indigenous family. Local Indigenous fishermen will have pre-drilled ice holes on the fish route. Guests can join the local fishermen in net fishing, experiencing the joy of being a polar fisherman firsthand. You can also freely play with snowboards. Afterwards, head to a downtown restaurant to enjoy a fish meal. After the meal, guests can return to their accommodation on their own (all hotels in the city center are within a 3-5 minute walk).

Fishing on Great Slave Lake (includes fish lunch, available only in winter)

On the ice, there will be a setup of either a wooden hut or a tent with a stove for warmth. Holes will be drilled into the ice, and each person will have their own fishing rod for self-fishing. This activity includes a fishing license for the Northwest Territories and a fish lunch.
