Denise was a excelent tour guide, she drove very carefully and make me feel safe all the time. She knew a lot of different things about Yosemite and also some side-stories that had happened in Yosemite, quiche made the tour more pleasant. ..If you hope to walk in between a forest of grand Sequoia, then this is not for you, you will only walk through a trail where you will be able to see some Sequoias and pass beside them.Read full review
Denise was one of the best and safest drivers we have been in the care of. Her knowledge and history was in believable, along with a great sense of humour. Would recommend the Yosemite trip to anyone, long but brilliant day.
Mark was such a fantastic tour guide. He was funny and knew and taught us lots of history. I highly recommend this tour with Extranomical Tours ! Thanks for a great day Elizabeth
Denise was a great tour guide. Our group enjoyed her tour very much. She also gave clear and accurate instructions. We also feel very safe with Denise throughout the trip.
Had a fabulous day trip from SF to Yosemite. Driver guide Gino was well informed and kept us engaged and entertained on the coach journey and allowed us plenty of time in the most perfect areas to appreciate wonderful Yosemite. Tour is also.. very well priced indeed compared to others and pick up and drop off was on time. Highly recommended.Read full review
Excellent views, treatment and driver, I just feel it was overpriced especially with no food included. Very happy with the experience, wouldn’t have changed anything about that!
Muy bueno! El único inconveniente fue que no nos pasaron a buscar por nuestro hotel sino que un poco lejos y tuvimos que tomar un taxi a las 6 de la mañana y fue un gasto inesperado. El resto todo perfecto!
100% Muir Woods and Wine Country - Anthony was fantastic!!
By: Angela |
My husband and I did this tour based on the recommendation by my sister who did it a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. Anthony was our walrus tour guide and he was fabulous!! Anthony was very personable and knowledgeable. He was ..concerned about our safety as he reminded us to wear our seatbelts each time we got on the bus. Anthony was 15 minutes early to pick us up and he explained it to us when we got to Muir Woods. I loved the fact that we got there early to avoid the entrance fee (which is NOT covered by the tour as was clearly stated when you booked the tour). It also gave us a little more time at Muir Woods which was the highlight and wished we actually had more time there. When we stopped in Sonoma for lunch, Anthony also gav3 us feedback on which restaurants were popular and which ones to avoid because of time. Who doesn’t love free cheese tasting?! Anthony informed us about the different wineries and how his previous tour groups stated they preferred the second winery (Mayo) and people purchased more wines from there than the other two wineries. However, my personal favorite winery was the first one we toured, Kieu Hoang. Mayo did have a really delicious port like Anthony stated. Cline Cellars was the last one we toured. I would of preferred to visit its’ sister winery, Jacuzzi instead. Another highlight was when Anthony took us to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Anthony was also a great photographer!! He only mentioned tipping a few times but no more than I’ve heard from other tour guides. I also heard him tell that couple who was turned off by the tipping that he would drop them off to a closer location so they could get to the airport to catch their flight that SAME DAY as the tour (which the tour site also states not to do).Read full review
