100% The tour is nothing more than a transportation.

The bus was very old, looked dirty. No wifi, no backseat basket, no cup holder, and no garbage bag hanging in the front of the bus. The tour guide we had either tired or didn't know much, hardly gave any background info for the sites we pas..sed through, (except for golden gate bridge), most talk was to inform us when to come back, where was the bathroom and to sale the optional activities and their associated restaurants. Most of us had no interaction with the guide and the driver, the driver didn't talk at all, not even a smile, and rushed us to get off the bus so he could park. The first Hotel we stayed, we needed to carry luggage all the way to the back and to the second floor, no elevator, the building looked like a motel. The room itself was alright tho. Both nights hotel was far out of the city. The tour managed to squeeze in many sites, but we didn't see much of the place at all, Some sites only 10- 15 minutes stop which including bathroom time. The bus took the shortest route, was not driving along the coast/Hwy 1 at all. We had a stop at the very beginning of the 17 miles drive, then turned to Monterey aquarium. We didn't even see the big famous cypress tree and Snow White sand beach, my biggest disappointment. I can't say I visited 17 miles. For the optional activities, I'd rather take a stroll In town than taking the cruise or visit the aquarium, or you won't have time left. The mandatory fee, you pay for visiting the university (I never paid a cent to enter university in North America), and you pay extra for the bus to take you around the city, shouldn't this be included in the tour's base fare already? I do not recommend this tour.Read full review
My husband and I took a trip in 2011 that we enjoyed very much, so I booked it again for a group of seniors I have at church. The Itinerary was similar to the first time, but wow was it different. We were rushed through the entire trip; 20 ..minutes, 30 minutes, etc. The most we stayed at one stop was the aquariam which was 1 1/2 hours and that's only because the same family was late to get on the bus at each stop. Given that the aquariam is $50 per person, one hour is not worth it the expense. I had to tell the bus driver that there was a demonstration going on in San Francisco, otherwise, half of the bus would not have made it to the meeting point at City Hall and I had to round everybody up to inform them we were cutting Fisherman's Warf early. We had to wait at a church that was closed for over 2 1/2 hours because of this mess. The bus driver, Lee was very rude, did not answer any questions other than to direct us to the tour guide, Mike who's English was limited. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but when he couldn't find one of the reservations I made, he said they had to get off the bus. He didn't even ask for the E-Ticket, which of course proved our reservation. He didn't even apologize, he just said okay. The entire trip was rushed and very disappointing. One night in dangerous Oakland! People screaming in middle of the night and cars rimming their engines. Nothing like the original trip my husband and I took years ago. I couldn't wait for it to end.Read full review
I took this tour and unfortunately from the day 1 it's been a bad start from missing places and giving us less time in all places they stop. It's a total rush everywhere in order to cover most places. On top of that there is nothing called ..optional tour package. For example: The bus itself take you to 1 or 2 important places in the name of indepth sight seeing and they charge $35. If you prefer to opt out then u can't stay in the bus or even they won't pick us from nearby places. The tour guide was not so professional and we didn't took cable tour and some others spots. Above all the bus broke in the middle of somewhere on the way to Yosemite. There was poor coordination between tour guide and driver and finally (today that is 23rd of Aug 2017) we waited and still waiting for more than 3 hours for some miracle to happen to take us from here. I will never ever take this tour and frustrating experience. There is something called service fee they collected before even the tour got ended a day back. $24 for 3 days and trust me there is no service. I would rate my experience as 1 in the scale of 5.Read full review
The trip was nice, price was low but you should be ready to pay extra for other attractions. You can not avoid it. During the trip we didn't have free time to explore San Francisco by our own, I understand that the schedule was tight but th..e organizer has to think what attraction is important like visiting stanford university was just wasting of time. Tour guide spoke mostly chinese, he put more effort to explain things in chinese than in english. I got only small piece of information according to visiting places. The tour guide was a bit unpolite and rude. On this tour we spent most of the time in the bus so future customers should be ready for long sitting in the bus.Read full review
Not please at all the way guide handles situations high tempement got crazy with Chinese family she screams for tips she ask driver to pull over in the middle of nowhere to leave family there she's crazy
I wad expecting much but was quite disappointed. The tour started late and so there were places in Day 1 itinerary that was skipped (e.g Solvang). The hotel we stayed on Day 2 (jn Modesto area) is old, very hot esp in the enclosed pool area... No elevators , lug your stuff to the 2nd floor. The guide said thete are eating places surrounding the hotel, but you need to walk some distance to get to these restaurants. After walking all over SanFo on the 2nd day of your trip you dont want to do that. You are hot, tired and hungry and the additional walking will cist you more energy. The bus was a bit uncomfortable as the air conditioning was not working really well. It was hot at times. Also, while the bus driver was able to get us safely to oyr destination, he was coughing badly. I was paranoid we might get sick feom his coughing, but seems like he wss having a bout of asthma the whole trip. I think the tour company should also consider your bus drivers health conditionas it scares the passengers safetywise and healthwise.Read full review
100% Bus time too long and too short points of interest information interpretation

Generally we were happy with what we got from what we had paid for in this trip. The following are a few suggestions that could have made our trip more enjoyable: 1. shorter bus time: Our daily bus time was from 6 am or 6: 30 am to at least.. 9:30 pm. 2. longer sleep time: Our daily sleep was about 5.5 hours only. We woke up before 5 am in order to get on the bus on time and arrived at our hotels after 9:30 pm either before or after dinner. 3. longer meal time: Each of our meal time was so short and so rush that many co-passengers had no time to sit down for meals but had to pack to eat in the bus to avoid lateness. 4. the interpretation on points of interests by the tour guide be increased: the voice could be clearer and louder, too.Read full review
Good coverage of San Francisco, good stops, reasonably priced.Guide is accommodating, but needs to know plan. No need to bring luggages along if coming back to same hotel the following night.
All the tour are mandatory no exception I didn't expect to pay extra money for all the tour only the mandatory ones but the tour guide make it all mandatory like the boat cruise. There are 10 people In my group n all we want is to stay at f..isherman wharf but the tour bus said we must take the cruise or they will not come back to us. Also the Chinese restaurant they pick are bad we got stomach ache. Afterwards no choice except Chinesefoods.Read full review
